// Automate

Stop paying people to do what software should handle.

AI isn't magic. It's a strategy: specific workflows to automate, specific tools to pick, specific ROI to measure. We help Calgary businesses figure out what's worth automating, then actually do it.

AI hype is everywhere. Practical ROI isn't.

Every SaaS vendor is adding AI features. Every consultancy is selling AI strategy. Meanwhile, your team is still manually re-keying data between systems, copy-pasting invoices, and spending an hour a day on repetitive tasks that a well-designed workflow could handle in seconds. The gap between AI marketing and AI results is wide. We help you close it.

What We Do

wesolv-IT // SERVICE 03.A

AI Strategy & Implementation

AI isn't magic. It's a strategy we implement.

We assess which AI tools actually fit your business, not the ones everyone's talking about, but the ones that solve your specific problems. Readiness assessment, tool selection, deployment, and measurement. Built around workflows your team already has, not hypothetical future ones.

SCOPE
  • AI readiness assessments and tool selection
  • Custom AI solution design and deployment
  • Data strategy and analytics pipeline architecture

Workflow & Process Automation

Manual processes are expensive. We eliminate them.

We map your business processes end-to-end, find the manual steps that are slowing you down, and automate them using the right tools for your stack, whether that's Zapier, Power Automate, Google Workspace scripts, or custom code. ROI measurement built in from day one.

SCOPE
  • Business process mapping and automation design
  • Integration across existing tools and platforms
  • ROI measurement and continuous optimization

How a typical engagement looks

01

Process Discovery

~1 week

We shadow your team (virtually) to see where time actually goes. The things that are slowing you down are rarely the things you think. We map the real bottlenecks, not the perceived ones.

02

Automation Opportunity Mapping

1 week

For every high-friction process, we assess: is this worth automating? What tool would we use? What's the ROI? You get a prioritized list with dollar-weighted recommendations.

03

Build & Deploy

varies

We build the automations using the tools that fit your stack. Simple integrations get shipped in days. Complex custom workflows take longer but we show incremental progress. No big-bang deployments.

04

Measurement & Iteration

ongoing

We instrument every automation from day one so you can see actual time saved, actual dollars saved, actual throughput increased. Automation that can't be measured is automation you can't defend.

Frequently Asked Questions

Isn't AI just a trend? Why invest now?

AI is both over-hyped and under-utilized. The hype will fade; the underlying capability won't. The businesses that figure out which workflows are worth automating now are the ones that'll still be operating efficiently in 5 years. The ones that wait will be catching up. We help you invest in the practical parts, not the hype parts.

Do we need data infrastructure before we can use AI?

For most SMB automation work, the kind that eliminates manual tasks and saves time, no. You can automate a lot with the data you already have in M365, Google Workspace, or your CRM. For more sophisticated AI applications (predictive analytics, custom models), yes, data infrastructure matters. We assess which category you fall into upfront.

What's the difference between automation and AI?

Automation is 'do this specific task every time this trigger happens.' AI is 'figure out what to do based on what you see.' Most valuable SMB work is automation, not AI, but AI is increasingly embedded in the tools you already use, which means the line is blurring. We help you use the right one for each job.

Can you build custom AI, or do you just configure tools?

Both. For most clients, configuring existing tools (Microsoft Copilot, Google AI, ChatGPT API, Zapier) solves the problem with far less cost and risk than building custom. When a custom solution is actually the right answer, we build it, but we'll always tell you when off-the-shelf is better.

What kinds of workflows are good automation candidates?

Anything repetitive, rule-based, and high-volume. Invoice processing, lead qualification, data entry between systems, document classification, report generation, customer onboarding steps, compliance checks. If a human is doing the same thing more than 20 times a week, it's probably a candidate.
